I bought this tripod for a couple of events shooting video and stills. Did not want to go cheap as I need it to withstand travelling and being thrown about/bumped into, but did not want to spend a fortune as it will be thrown about and bumped into!! I chose this one as it is tall, so I can shoot above the heads of a crowd if needed and also has a detachable monopod.First impressions when it arrived was how solid it felt, not very heavy but more solid. The bag that comes with it is really well made, it is not just a thin cheaply made freebie, but a good quality storage bag with a comfortable strap.I noticed how smooth the legs unfolded and the center column rises and falls, the engineering is good and everything is tight and positively locks in place.Two of the best features that you don’t see on many tripods are that you can lock the ball head, but has a separate screw that loosens to let you pan, and also the way the center column can be changed to horizontal. I did this and it gives a better and smoother pan (more control for video), also good for landscape photography when creating a panorama.I am 6’3” (190cm) tall and even when I stand on my toes I cannot see through the viewfinder when fully extended, it is a tall tripod!! It closes up to a really compact size, the center column inverts so the camera can be placed almost on the floor if needed.The only negative I have is that the instructions are very basic. It gives the use, setup and warnings but there is another small tube and screw that I have worked out is used when changing to monopod. It is not a big issue and can easily be worked out, but with the quality and detail in the rest of the product I think that this could be better.The most important thing is that I feel confident putting my expensive camera and lens on this tripod without any worries. I would definitely replace it with the same model if this one was stolen.One very happy customer!!

have to say the mount that screw in to the bottom of the camera is no good it keep slip around in potrait mode poor fitting

A very good quality tripod with additional "Monopod" built in! but the best thing is the ability to mount your camera sideways with the nicely "hidden" slide out extension! very sturdy even with my Pentax K3 and Sigma 150-600mm zoom attached. a very smooth "Pan" which is adjustable also! in all a very well designed and built Tripod. Good height good sturdy legs with twist locks. A great deal from Amazon with the extra Discount offered..

I'm a beginner landscape photographer and this is my first tripod, it's very sturdy and easy to carry.

Not really used it properly yet, so the durability is still being accessed, does not look as durable as my Manfrottos.

It's a nice tri-pod. It's heavy however and the lack of quick release clips really let this down. However it's nice to get low with my macro shots as getting low to the ground is a challenge for me. The monopod is a great addition to this. It also supports my 150-600mm Sigma lens so happy with this.

No joke, these tripods are so strong, portable & versatile that I bought a second for my studio. I genuinely really really like them!Gear wise we've got access to Benro, Manfrotto etc at the studio & as static tripods or stands that can get you into more awkward/acute angles these stands get more use. Quality is excellent, the first is over 6 months use, with constant use and no part shows any signs of age or stress. The ball head is awesome, my only criticism being that the quick release plate is so small, it's not practical for bigger bodies/lens setups.

I am so impressed with this product. The build quality is perfect. The tripod is very solid and stable as well as being light enough to carry on my hikes and versatile enough to use in any situation. The ball head and panorama movements are very smooth and secure very well. Overall I cannot fault this tripod and will definitely be looking at more K&F products.

Well packaged and delivered on time this work of art is a cut above the rest and is so versatile from holding the camera for macro shots to movies and standing up tall. One of the legs is a very useful monopod. The camera holding / mounting really is engineered - this tripod is good for beginners and professionals. Sadly I lost the velvet bag but happily a replacement is on its way.
