This is quite heavy and not so portable, but the boom arm is great for getting tricky angles when working with things like food or products. Overall a nicely designed piece of kit for studio use.3 stars because some parts are simply glued together, and the glue has come unstuck after not that much use.

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. In fairness it was not a surprise as he had already researched tripods and had told me about this one. He tells me that he is really pleased with it and specifically because he is able to quickly release the camera from the tripod and also because of its sturdiness and versatility.

This is perfect, I’ve been looking for a new tripod for my scope. It’s just as good as more expensive ones. It holds the weight perfectly and is so stable there is no movement after setting it up, which means I can look at the target without having to readjust after every arrow. I look forward to shooting with it.

His tripod is so fantastic. It’s my first professional tripod and it’s worth he money as the quality material makes it stable. Has options for vertical and horizontal pics, and many different highs. Love it! Please note as per the quality, is heavier than a cheaper tripod but the carry bag makes it easier. Just don’t bring any things apart from the tripod and camera where you’re using it (that’s what I do).

Nice tripod with some good features. Have already used it on holiday (carrying onboard the plane was no problem) to take some great pictures. Excellent for night sky photography. Would recommend.

I have started a photography course and invested in this tripod rather than a cheap one. This is sturdy and easy to use. I would have preferred the leg 'clips' rather than the screw ones, as they take a bit longer when you are in a hurry. I like the flexible ball head for different angles. Overall, worth the money and a good piece of equipment.

Very sturdy, attractive and with many features. The only issue I seem to be having is with quality of some parts of the item IE. the integral monopod is a bit wonky etc.

I bought this to record overhead videos. It's a more practical solution than hanging a camera at the bottom of a tripod centre column (which this tripod can also do).I have recorded three or videos with it so far. I would have liked the horizontal column to be slightly longer, but overall it's excellent. I'm really pleased as it is going to allow me to set up a more practical overhead camera rig.In my attached video I show you how it can work, but I'm still playing with the setup. I may sit the tripod off from the other side of my table and hang it over the other way. I have a few options.The overall package is good. The included case is high quality and comes with a shoulder strap. A simple manual and an allen key are provided as well.Although I have only had the tripod a few days, it is clear that it is built to last. The legs and centre column are all solid. The horizontal column can spin around 360 degrees, but you may find the tripod becomes unstable if you have the column fully extended.The ballhead is also high quality and wll be able to hold all the cameras I have.Check out my video to see how the tripod works in more detail and be sure to post any questions about anything I did not cover :)
