I've been using this for a few weeks now, and I can tell you that this is an amazing tripod!I'm a professional photographer, and I do both studio work and am often out shooting on location as well, and this tripod really hits the sweet spot between a studio tripod and a mobile tripod. First of all it is super sturdy and made of excellent materials and construction. It is extremely solid.At the same time, it's not overly heavy. It's light enough that you can take this thing with you easily - which is hugely beneficial because when you use it on location, you are using a tripod with full studio capabilities, not some lightweight travel tripod!The three tripod legs are long, secure and sturdy, and it has excellent locking joints and mechanisms. It can position your camera low tothe ground or very high up, all the while sturdy and stable.One of the legs also screws off to become a monopod as well, which is a great feature!The only complaint I have is that I wish the boom on it would be adjustable at different angle, as it is, it can only position the camera out on the boom at a 90 degree angle, which is great for when I am shooting down onto a table top for product and food photography!Overall this is an amazing tripod for the price! For overhead shooting, it wasnt't as high as I had hoped, but still a very good and stable tripod with lots of versatility on the angle thanks to the ball parts.

Really didn't like it at first...but my oh my...this unit ROCKS!!!!

First thing I want to say is the build quality is excellent! 95% of the tripod is metal(only things that aren't are a couple of the adjustment "knobs" and the adjustments to extend the legs).Being all (or mostly) metal it has a nice weight to it, but it's defiantly not TOO heavy.I wanted something with a bit of heftiness to it, because I own a Nikon D7000 with a battery grip which isn't the lightest camera setup. This tripod holds it excellent and I don't see it tipping over very easily.All of the adjustments are easy to tighten/loosen and smooth.The ball head is awesome as well, so easy to adjust and get it where I want it.It's also a fluid head which works beautifully, no complaints here.Another HUGE reason I wanted to get this particular tripod is for overhead shots, and let me say it's super simple to setup for those shots. With just a few adjustments and movements, you're all ready to mount your camera and get your overhead shots!With each of the 3 tripod legs being fully adjustable, getting it setup on most surfaces will be easy.Sometimes you don't have the option to be on fully flat ground, and being able to adjust each leg separately is a huge deal and works very good.Not sure how much I'll personally use it, but being able to remove one leg and with a couple of quick adjustments and having a mono pod is awesome. It works as good as any other mono pod, and still being able to have the ball head, it's nice.With the legs fully extended and everything else fully extended, it gets pretty tall. I'm around 5"11 and it probably goes at least a foot over my head. Not sure if anyone will every need it THAT tall, but if you do you have the option for it, which is always good.It also comes in a nice carrying bag, so if you're traveling, it breaks down quickly and fits nice in the bag.Overall I don't really have anything negative to say about this tripod.For me personally, it's everything I've been looking for in a tripod plus some.I've only had it for a week or so.. so for longevity, only time will tell.But personally I feel like it'll hold up good with the all metal design.The only kind of negative thing, it is a bit heavy being all metal, but not too bad.I'll take the bit of heftiness that it comes with to know that my camera isn't going to fall over while being mounted.

The quality of the product is very well made, and all the functions it offers plus the additional versatility that you have to be able to change it to different setups and size is excellent, plus is being a tripod monopod combo is great ! I believe that the weight is perfect, I think if it was lighter in weight I would not be comfortable in attaching my camera to it. I can't totally review the wear and tear of it or any problems as of yet, obviously because I just got it. If I was to want something else added, I would have to say it would be to have the option to have removable spike feet for the bottom of the legs, in addition to having the rubber ones that it comes with, and a normal quick release plate function I feel would have been better, when attaching the camera to ball head and not the screw tighten release plate that it has now, but even with it not having this, I am still very happy with it. There is one more thing that I have to see how it pans out in the long run before saying anything ... So, as for me personally, over all I give this Tripod a rating of 95% right out of the box ! It's a Keeper !

This tripod hit the nail on the head for the exact purposes I was looking for! I produce content via YouTube and for a long time now have been looking for an economical and safe way to record top down video and take top down photography. After visiting this items product page off and on for months I decided to buy and I do not regret a thing.Packaging:Very well put together. The unit comes in a single box with beautiful yet minimal branding. Inside the box was a very nice carrying case which contained everything else. The bag itself is very durable and I will certainly be using it as my full time travel companion thanks to the included shoulder strap. The tripod itself packs up inside and takes up a very small footprint when fully compressed to it's smallest sizing.Tripod:Everything on this tripod is built from high grade aluminum, ranging from it's legs, latches, and locking nuts. At full extension, meaning the legs and both inner pieces, it is honestly taller than I could ever find a use for. At this height I still found the unit to be very stable. If you are worried, there is a pull out hood on the underside of the center column that allows for the hanging of a sand bag for extra protection from tipping. The legs extend with the twist of a collar, making it easy to do while holding the tripod with your other hand. the center column locks in place with an aluminum locking collar and I had no issues with any slippage during my testing. What made this a MUST HAVE for me was the fact that there is an inner cylinder within the center column that comes out and can be positioned at a 90 degree angle, allowing for some very unique positioning not found on other products. This is perfect as it allows me to shoot video from a top down perspective without the need of building a fully dedicated rig. The column also retracts as depicted in the photographs for added stability and shortening of distance from the tripod base. Lastly, one leg easily unscrews for use as a mono pod!Ball Head:This was a nice added touch and something not found at this price point, especially from such a niche product with little market competition. The head easily locks in place and stays very secure. I had no problem mounting and using a DSLR, cage, grip, and Rokinon Cine lens attached which all together has some weight behind it. The quick release plate stays in place well and is very small, which is a huge plus for individuals like myself with bottom mounted SD card slots! The fluid motion is quite nice as well and allows for smooth panning. Lastly, there is a level on the ball head which will allow you to position the unit with a centered horizontal position.All in all I find this to have exceptional value and will be strongly recommending this tripod for all content creators I speak with.

I have used this a few times now and in some very windy conditions. It has performed very well even for long exposures. Feels very sturdy and has great features. Can't think of another tripod for £99 that is as good as this. Definitely recommend it.
