Great product with clear sound quality, I would recommend picking up a "dead cat" to break the wind noise if its a frequent issue with your filming. Other than that I can't fault it.

Along with furry mike cover (bought separately) and connector adapter (bough separately) this is just the job for my movie making with my Fuji bridge camera.

This is not a pro-level Microphone. It is, on the other hand, providing a solid $60 dollars worth of quality sound! The +10 db will provide you with 100ft of reach, more than enough for the weekend prosumers! Therefore, I happily recommend this product.

this is an everyday carry for me when i vlog, the quality is amazing and it's easy to use and hook up but make sure you get extra batteries, cause if you accidentally forget to turn it off, you're screwed lol

The microphone fits neatly onto a DSLR camera and is simple to operate. The sound is not as clear as I hoped and you will need to edit out background noise.

I was sent this in return for an unbiased review. My opinions are formed after using the product for a week.I found this microphone to be of high quality which was far superior to my cameras built-in stereo microphone. Playing back the footage from the last few days, some with the microphone attached and some without, you can certainly pick out the scenes where the microphone is plugged in. It has definitely improved my videography with its high quality audio. I didn't notice a huge amount of difference with the setting on +10db but it was certainly more sensitive even if not by a huge amount.Where this microphone falls down however is the build quality. Out of the box the microphone comes with its windscreen off. Attempting to mount the windscreen was rather tough, I did get it on but sadly the windscreen had developed a small tear despite the fact i didn't feel i was being to vigorous with it. Luckily it hadn't torn all the way through and the audio didn't seem to be affected by it. The other failing i found of the microphones build quality was the join between the microphone unit and the cube mount which has the hotshoe connection on the top of it. It seemed weak and the microphone definitely had some play in it when wiggled. I fear it wouldn't take much effort to break this join by accident.All in all though, for the price you are getting a really good quality audio experience for your videography. Just, don't be too rough with it!
