I've been using this tripod exclusively for a couple months now. Over-all I'm impressed. I give it 4 stars because of a couple issues I don't like, but for the money, It is a huge improvement over my old $15 'walmart' tripod.issues:1. the ball head has some grease that is slowly excreting from the 'rotational dial' near the bottom of the head. I often grab the head to make an adjustment, only to have my hand feel sticky afterwards.2. when tightening the main ball adjustment knob, the tightening action will cause the camera to move as it is tightened. So composing a shot can sometimes take a few tries while trying to frame the subject a little higher than needed so when I tighten the knob it will pull the camera downward and the shot will be 'close' to what I want.Luckily I believe this tripod has a standard head attachment screw, so I may just replace the head portion with something different in the future.

I had a cheap tripod that eventually broke in multiple spots. I decided to spend a little more money and I’m glad I did. This is built to last.

I've used quite a few tripods in the past for filming videos and taking pictures and none were as full featured as this one. Keep in mind that this tripod does not have a long handle for filming videos, so it's hard to pan. But it's a highly adjustable tripod for pictures that reaches great heights and has many nifty mechanisms to conform to any angle you want. It has a solid build quality and can take on quite a bit of weight. I also love that it comes with a carrying bag of its own since it's also very portable once folded. Solid purchase and well worth the price.

What a wonderful tripod. This thing is very easy to use and perfect for all of my photography needs. It's lightweight and it came with a nice case.

I can't believe how light this tripod is, a lot lighter then the one I had which I lost a part and needed a replacement. It is so light that came with a carrying bag for ease of carry tripod. Love the idea. Not only you can carry by hand but also a strap to carry with shoulder. Tripod is very easy to assemble and legs does do 360° which means either hang your camera below in between legs or above. Very nice. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

This tripod is exactly what I was hoping for! I love the flip tab extension releases, and the ball camera mount is very secure and maneuverable. I haven't figured out how to turn it into a monopod, (guess I will read the instructions for that) but Setting up, and moving it around is a dream, it is so light. Shipped as promised.

This tripod is amazing. It is pretty much 99% metal, so you know that it won't break easily. I bought this tripod so that I could mount my DSLR (Nikon D3300) onto it and mainly take macro shots with my 75-300mm lens. In the past I had been disappointed by a cheaper tripod that couldn't handle the weight of the camera combined with the heft of a long lens. This tripod is the complete opposite. The mounting hardware is all metal and once you secure it to the platform, it's not going anywhere. I was also rather skeptical of the ballhead component of the tripod at first, but after using it I have fallen in love with it. It makes it much easier to rotate the camera for a perfect shot and a knob on the side can be turned to lock the ball in place. I haven't had the tripod for a long time yet, but I'm sure that the ability to invert the axis will make for great macro shots in the future. If you need a tripod that can actually support your DSLR and give you the ability and maneuverability to take game changing pictures or videos, you should definitely give this tripod a try. You will not be disappointed.
