Arrived very quickly. Items as expected and seem well made. I tried the Canon fd to mft adapter with my Panasonic GX80 and a Canon 35-70 FD lens. No problems at all. Very pleased and would definitely recommend supplier to other people. (If thinking of buying, bear in mind that all settings are manual when using this adapter...no auto focus or exposure.)

Bought with no real expectations due to the price, but it's quite simply as good as you will ever need. EXTREMELY nice fit (FD to m43) with absolutely zero flex or wobble. Incredible really. Using an FD 50mm 1.8 with a Panasonic Gx80. £45 for the lens and the adapter is great. At f4 it is sharper than the Panasonic 25 1.7 at the same aperture. I love fully manual lenses for videos, too. Going to source a 50mm 1.4 at some point to see which resolves better.

This adaptor is of good quality, fits the lenses well, but there are no instructions whatsoever on how to attach it to the lenses. It was initially a very frustrating purchases,as I could not figure out how to fit the lenses to the adaptor.Even You tube videos did not make it clear. I very nearly threw the adaptor away in frustration and anger. It was only after many days searching the internet that I found the answer on the Photo.net forums.Which is that,' The raised red index button on the outside of the lens must be aligned with the red dot on the flat circular plate on the back of the lens (i.e., the plate in which the various aperture levers are located). If these are not aligned on your lens, rotate the inner portion of the back of the lens counterclockwise while pushing in the chrome lens lock button. The back of the lens should click into position when the red index button and red dot line up.' Had I not found this information I would have thrown the adaptor away, and moved away from Canon lenses altogether.

Am happy with it, well made and does what it says. Have put old canon 50mm manual FD lens on my Panasonic Micro Four Thirds Camera. My only negative is I keep accidental moving the Lock > Open by rotating it and it makes the lens go full aperture. Is not to big an issue as I am aware of it and always keep checking it.

I bought this to use Canon FD lenses with a Panasonic GH4 in a fully manual mode. (This is a simple adapter and does not provide any communication between lens and camera.) The adapter seems well built. It fits well on both camera and lens and the Lock/Open ring turns smoothly. (This ring controls the aperture, and should be set to Lock when attaching the adapter. In the Lock position, the lens's aperture ring will change the aperture. In Open position, the lens remains wide open.)

I picked up some earlier Canon FD lenses very cheaply and wanted to experiment with mounting them on my Lumix G80 4/3 rds camera. The FD lenses are 'mechanical' so there is no electrical connection possible between the camera body and the lens in fact, you have to tell the camera body that you are "shooting without a lens" (it's in a menu option) therefore the purpose of this adapter is simply to provide a mechanical/physical connection between the body and the FD lens. What this means is you set your camera to full manual mode, set the aperture on the lens barrel and focus manually using the lens, all great fun and this adapter works very well.

Great product. Only thing I find a little less than perfect is the way it attaches to the camera. There is no positive catch or click when you wind the ring around. I worry that I might attach a lens and not have it firmly attached. Well made and robust product. Still assessing the ability to focus properly but for now looks good with both a prime and telephoto lens.
