Great little adapter to attach my Canon 50mm 1.8 FD lens to my Sony Alpha 7II Body. No vignetting or other issues.Good Solid made. It works well.

Works ok but does not lock or secure my fd lens properly. The aperture lock dial on the adapter is always moving or loose

My version is the Canon FD to NEX (E-Mount) adapter.Quite surprised with the quality of the adapter for the price. It has a nice solid mount all made of metal and it looks solid, the clearances are good and fits nice and snug on my Sony a6000.Recommend product.

The manufacturing quality of this mount is very, very good. I bought it for its built-in removable tripod mount, but I don't own any G lenses (yet) so can't comment on the aperture control. Having used it once in the field, I can say that the design of the tripod mount is flawed, because it allows minor movement between the adapter and its tripod foot. It's enough to be quite annoying and it introduces vibration when shooting. As a result of this movement, the screw can also loosen....not the extent it will fall of the tripod, but definitely to the extent that you need to continually keep tightening it up.I didn't send it back, because I'm really pleased with the quality of the adapter and my workaround solution is to fit a metal pin between the tripod foot and the adapter. The end in the tripod foot will be securely glued in, the other end will be removable.

Great adapter and easy to use. I've purchased 2 so far and they are indefensible in working with older lens.

OK, here's the deal. As the other reviewer said, the infinite focus overshoots a bit. However, with focus peaking on my Sony, this really isn't a problem. You just have to follow the focus peaking and not your instinct to "crank it up to 10" if you want to focus to infinity. I think it's very difficult to make an adapter that can agree with all infinite focus ranges of all Canon FD lenses, because I was disappointed with a Speedbooster in this regard. Some lenses just wouldn't reach infinity on that $400 piece of gear. Better to give you the option of overshooting than undershooting and never reaching infinity. However, I give it five stars because for the price, the thing is SO DARN WELL MADE. Both mounts are rock solid. It feels like a much more expensive piece of gear. And, now the real kicker...the aperture control dial is SUPER smooth. Smoother than the Speedbooster! I was considering "declicking" my FD lenses for video production, but with this I don't think it will be necessary. If you just set a minimum aperture, say f/8, you can smoothly rack the 50 1.4 between "open" and "lock" to vary the aperture from f/1.4 to f/8. It takes a bit of practice but you can do it slowly, and smoothly, enough that you don't see noticeable quantization of the camera's exposure.

Does what it says on the tin. Well made for the money and works fine on my Nex5 and my a7

This is really a great adapter, i use this with an old FL 50mm 1.2 and the aperture ring allows for a click-less aperture control. just set your lens aperture to the smallest aperture (f/16) and set it in "A" mode and voila, you can control the aperture clicklessly from the wheel on this adapter. i have to say that for movie makers this is a pretty awesome feature that usually comes with a great price tag. personally i dont shoot so much in infinity focus so i wont comment on that, but otherwise, i find that K&F make really awesome adapters and the prices is just awesomely right and it fits like a glove and looks just beautiful. you definitely wont go wrong here for the price. thanks K&F for an awesome product at a very fair price!

Nice fit with Canon FD lenses. Went through two more expensive models before getting this one.
