Crazy low FPS when trying to stream video in a chat room, other than that it works okay.I've had this FPS issue in Discord with every single DEPSTECH camera I've tried [both of the listings here]

i got this because it was cheap for a 2k webcam. the 2k makes it look like a fisheye so it has a really wide field of view, if you care about that. every other time i use the camera, it wont detect the usb during pc boot. the way to fix it besides unplugging it and plugging it back in is to go to device manager and uninstall the device then rescanning for new devices. another thing is if i have low enough light, the auto light adjustment turns the camera to almost all black. to fix this, you just have to restart the camera completely and make sure you have enough light before starting the camera up. you can use a cellphone light shooting at your face. once its on, the auto light will work fine in darker lite rooms.

Funny story: the face recognition on phones use IR. If you’re sitting on a conference call with this thing, it looks like disco lights going off when you pick up your phone.

I bought this camera for my Zoom classes for the past 6 months but people say the mic sounds echoey and sometimes the camera can be quite laggy. It just barely does the job, would not use in a professional setting. Otherwise it's extremely easy to set up. Buy if no other options available.

Only gave it one star because I had to do that to submit the review.It arrived quickly- in one day. Butit didn’t work at all.Tried it on two different computers.Don’t bother.

bought one of these for my daughter to take classes for college, it was easy to setup and did a very good job.

Even when the quality is not the best, I was surprised with the quality of this camera compared with the price I paid, I was looking on internet to find something decent for price/quality, a lot of people recommended a Logitech camera, but in this price range, personally I think the quality was beyond what you can get in any other camera on the market

So the image quality is ok it’s nothing to write home about but my camera has a small obstruction between the outer lens glad and the lens itself and it causes a light distortion when viewing the camera. I will be returning this. See photo.

It's claimed that this product is 2K res, in reality the quality was more like 720i. I guess for $19 I couldn't be too surprised.I bought this to use for my Teams calls instead of the built in laptop camera (which is true 4K), since the desk I'm using now is limited space with 2 monitors. During one call, my camera appeared to be grainy and the refresh appeared lagging. I bought a different web cam from Nexigo to compare, a little costlier too at $53. The Nexigo boasted a true HD 1080p res, and when comparing them side by side, the Nexigo camera won; no competition.This Depstech color saturation was off the mark too, with a red hue that I couldn't correct. The Nexigo had more true color imaging. The wide angle fish view of this Depstech was also very unpreferred compared to the Nexigo.
