I already own a night vision monocular, but it's rather heavy and bulky so I wanted something more light and portable. This is the ticket. We have a bird feeder that the squirrels will dive bomb to knock the seeds out of it and I can now see them from indoors before they have emptied it out. But I like the thing so much that I'll probably keep it in the truck so I'll have it ready to use with my phone for photos also. Even with the attachments this item doesn't take up much space at all, and that's what is hard to tell from the photos you see. It's basically the size of a can of V8, or Izze, and maybe just a tad longer.

Higher quality that I'd expected at this price point! Ergonomic design with adequate heft to help keep it stable in my hand. Focus is smooth. Pouch and short lanyard are handy. (I ran the eyepiece cover through the lanyard so it can't be lost. The objective lens cover stays attached.) Definitely worth the money.

It was good overall but the tripod didn't help much because the weight of the scope but its alright.

I had a monocular that got dropped and broke. I bought two new ones and this one is WAY BETTER than the other one, or my previous one.

I was looking for a good, compact, high power monocular, I had to give it a try.My first impression was of the impressive light gathering capacity of the 50mm ocular. The image is bright, sharp and clear right out to the edges. It's easy to align your eye with the image. The tight smoothness of the focusing mechanism is first rate. This is really a solid useful product.Everyone that has used it has commented on how handy and clear it is and just enough not to drag out the big spotter! I have taken some great nature pictures, but mostly use for bird pics. I use this with a tripod .
