I bought these because I live in the mountains and we go hiking with my 4 year old all the time. This has been my experience so far.Pros:Small form factor but not to small for adult use.Ease of use! Even my 4 year old can adjust it and use itLightweight and portable. I can stick it in my pocket, backpack, pouch, Jacket pocket, etc.Comes with a strap and cleaning cloth which is awesome because as parents know, kids drop things and love to put smudges and fingerprints on glass.Cons:It's more of a personal thing - I don't like how they have separate adjusters in different locations. I wish it was uniform but I understand why. It's a little hard to explain to a younger one how to adjust both, but they'll get it if you show them, explain, and help.Overall:At 25x these things are awesome and work really and feel it's a better magnification than the 50x for average person use. On our hike we've already got an up close look at Bald Eagles, an Owl, and plenty of Red Tailed Hawks and other birds/animals. I'm really thinking about buying another one instead of a more powerful one because this is just easy to use and great for the everyday person.

I was so excited when I opened the packaging today and started using my HONTRY binoculars! Of course I first read the Quick Start 3 step guide which was clear and easy to follow. There were birds at my bird feeder and some off further in the yard and driveway, the binoculars gave me such a clear and closeup look at the birds that they are even prettier than they are with the naked eye! I especially like the size of these compact binoculars, they are very comfortable in my hands; I'll let my grandkids try them when they come to visit because I think the size will be good for them also. Also, I wear bifocal eyeglasses and I was able to use the binoculars both with and without my glasses! The good thing about these HONTRY compact binoculars is that the material around the eye pieces are soft enough that they won't scratch my eyeglasses when I'm wearing them. In addition to nice packaging and enclosed info, these HONTRY binoculars came with a nice case which has a loop in case you want to put it on a belt, and the case has a velcro closure; it also came with a strap and microfiber lens cleaning cloth. The cost was perfect for all you get! I would highly recommend these. I might even buy another pair for a friend or family members birthday. So if you, or others you know have started bird-watching like so many of us have during 2020 and early 2021, give these a try!

I purchased these binoculars to keep in my car. I find them to be very useful because they are compact but give great vision. Perfect for that use, and easy to throw in my bag if I am going for a hike!
