An amazing tripod, very stable, with equally fantastic features, my only problem is the lack of instructions on how to use it, for example: how to change it to me a monopodBut once you have figured it out, wow its just a fantastic piece of equipment and I think well worth the price

This is a very well-built, study and versatile tripod. I used to have a cheap tripod and always didn't feel surdy enough to put my camera on it. I ended up going with this after searching a few product pages. It's not that light compare than cheap tripod but definitely safe to put your expensive camera on it. The controls for making adjustments on it are pretty easy to get the hang of, and it came packaged very nicely with a travel bag. I would choose it again.

Easy to use, fast in, fast out of my truck. I use it for huge binoculars, and I feel safe to use it. IF you chose a Tri-Pod, this one is A1. Make sure you chose the right one, there is different versions of tripod, some have side extension, (which I didn't need ) offset arms, and others. THIS brand is TOP quality, TOP features, ("single arm feature"). I just love it. Make you explore all the features, for the instructions are not the best. I discovered that the "main" screw can be inverted for another "screw treads". which is awesome for different screw mount. It well/strongly built. We are far far away from those old silver classic tripod. "A NEW generation" I'd say.

Doing a quick review on a Tripod my wife bought for me. As soon as you open the box it is a WOW. Feels very sturdy and comes with a really nice case. The best part is it's size! Comparing it to my old one which was also a gift and you can see the difference :) The locking mechanism at the top is very simple and easy to install and remove. On my old one I lost a part as there were too many little pieces.

foot locking latches open very easily. With a light touch of your leg as you pass by, the latches open and the tripod comes to nothing. I broke one of my lenses like this. The second issue is that if you are going to buy this tripod, you should be sure to use it only with light cameras. otherwise it will not meet your expectations. Since it is a light product, a little stretch occurs. I think it is risky for professional work. It can be used with light cameras without keeping the expectations high by paying attention to the foot pegs.

So, I had to send the first one back. The centre column was not straight. In fact it was quite a way from being plumb. I checked all the locking nuts etc, even measuring the individual legs but no, it was defective. When the centre column was extended and the large orange locking nut was tightened, it pulled the column to one side. It was also noticeable when not extended. Not want you want with a tripod.Not a good start but with good customer service from Amazon, I obtained a refund and ordered another. This time success!This is a great tripod. The photo's of it are accurate. It feels good and it looks good. It has a good 'weight' to it and does appear to be well made. The ball head clamp tightens up well and there is no movement. Same with the legs, the lever locks are very good and once locked off there is no movement. An Allan key is provided to tighten up the bolts should the need arise.I'm glad I wasn't put off by my first experience with this tripod. I have confidence in this tripod with my expensive gear on top!
