This is my first tripod so I don't have anything to compare. But right out of the box I could feel the quality in the material, the tripod not giving out this wiggly feeling but rather strong. I wants a tripod to scan my film so I would love if it can rotate around in various angle, and this one did just that. The tripod is quite heavy to me, so this definitely probably be staying at home, I may try to hike with it. If I did, I will definitely update you guys.

Very nice tripod with great features and design! I have a few different tripods to compare this one too, all the way from cheap and light aluminum over to heavy and expensive Manfrotto. This tripod falls on the heavier side but that's fine with me, with weight comes stability. If I'm traveling I'm going to bring something lighter, if I'm shooting in the ocean and going to get saltwater on my gear, I'm bringing something cheap. This tripod is not something I would travel with, instead it is home to my star tracker mount. It's weight gives a dampening effect for long focal lengths and there is a hook at the bottom of the center column to hang additional weight for more dampening. Overall a great solution for my portable night sky photography setup.

I used this tripod for food shooting.actually it's very suitable for this kind of shooting,because of it's shape. Highly recommended from me for it's functions and quality.. <3

this tripod is very cool. it can collapse down for carrying purposes. it also comes with a carrying case. it can work as your standard tripod with adjustable legs. you can also flip it upside down and use it for low angles or macro photography. it can get super low to the ground. it comes with an allen key to remove the 3 legs so that it can turn into a monopod. it was very tight i had to get the husband to loosen it. so the first time you may need some extra strength to get the legs off. Using it as a monopod is convenient for when your walking around with the camera and need it to be stable like walking around conventions and such.it can rotate all around 360 degrees. easy to put your camera on and off. feels sturdy and safe. defiantly recommend for photographers

This is quite simply everything I have ever wanted or needed from a tripod. All of the joints and sockets move smoothly and securely. The latches, likewise seem to be very precisely made, move smoothly and lock solidly. It's light without being flimsy, tight without being difficult to operate and it folds up smaller and more easily than any of my other tripods.

Nice all metal tripod. Seems to be aluminum since it’s relatively lightweight considering how sturdy it is. Goes really really tall. No camera sag even with telephoto lenses (which is just amazing). Honestly, I can’t believe how long I waited before upgrading from my old budget tripod. Nice carrying case with a shoulder strap that adjusts to be long enough to be comfortable to carry. All around I’d say that it’s a quality tripod and it should last me forever.

I am so happy I spent the extra money to buy a quality tripod. This thing does everything and it does it easily. It’s not clunky or cumbersome. Everything moved smoothly and adjustments are made with easy.
