Fun Monocular for a variety of reasons. Both eye lens and subject lens have protective covers. Take off and you have an instant Monocular with surprising clarity. Use the eye lens and focus ring to zoom in on your target. Mind you, the steadier your hand, the better the image. There are plenty of ‘grip patches’ for easy handling. Using the tripod on the Monocular helps its to be steady. I felt the tripod could have been a little ‘stronger’ but it works and extends to a height of 5”-8” with placing in the ground for steadiness.To obtain a stable image or shot, use the tripod, either attached to the Monocular or the iPhone holder. With my iPhone (its works with all sizes), I took the smart adapter, lined the hole up with the main camera lens and tightened it with this attachment. Using the tripod insert on the smart adapter, I was able to focus in on a distant object and take a shot. It was perfect. You can always edit it later if needed.The materials are well made with a carrying bag, hand strap and soft cleaning cloth. The tripod is not the heaviest, but it still does the job. Great product for a very reasonable price.
