This is actually the second Dragon Touch action cam I've bought (the first was sadly stolen). I have tried others too but feel dragon touch has higher quality, more features, and more accessories when compared to its peers. This one even has a touch screen! I primarily use these cameras to film my live band's performances so haven't taken it underwater yet but I did use my older one in pools with no trouble at all. My first Dragon Touch purchase years ago was as a backup for a G*Pr* without removable batteries. There was nothing more frustrating than the old GP needing recharged in the middle of a great trip. The more I used my DT, I found that there was little to no difference in the video quality and quickly bought the new vision 3 with a touch screen when my older DT 4k went missing at a gig. For the price you can buy multiple cameras with lots of features instead of 1 high end GP. Just make sure you always buy the latest model, although the older DTs are still good quality and VERY inexpensive, I'd suggest getting the slightly higher (seriously it's like 60 bucks tops) Vision 3 with the Touch screen to compete with the newer GP heroes. You can even pick up super cheap usb battery chargers with like 3 extra batteries (this came with 2 already) and never worry about running out of power.
