I purchased this camera to mount in my dirt modified race car. I have not mounted it in there as of yet because I need to build a roll bar mount that fits the car and securely holds the camera. I did however mount the camera on my Harley to test it. I know that a lot of people aren't going to mount this in a race car but will use it for other applications such as motorcycling. This camera came with several mounts, two batteries, a charger and a remote start. This camera has a great picture and sound. I was impressed. I was going to buy a go-pro but saw the price of this camera and decided if it took a rock on the track, I would not be out much. I wasn't really expecting much. I got way more than I expected. I think if it does take a rock, It will be okay.. The waterproof case is pretty tough. I have not tested it in the water and I don't plan to do so. I'm a motor head and this thing will be used for motorsports. the remote start is awesome. Once I mount this thing in the race car, I can put the remote start on a roll bar and not have to record all of the boring stuff while sitting in staging. I would highly recommend this camera. I am going to purchase another one once I figure out my roll bar mount.
