Perfect gift
I was half expecting a kids' toy, but was pleasantly surprised with the camera's abilities. Got it for my 8 yr. old granddaughter to take to camp. She was fully capable of understanding all the functions and took many underwater photos of pretty decent quality. She's had it for 3 months and now takes it everywhere. Holds a charge well and the sd card holds hundreds of photos and short videos.
