Great balance between weight and sturdiness. Very flexible tripod and very compact when stowed.
The 72" K&F Tripod has a supreme range of adaptability. The whole thing comes in a very well made carry case around 50cm long and it really is impressive the quality of the tripod that comes out of the bag. I have been struggling to get a sturdy enough tripod to take long exposure shots of the night sky in Scotland without motion blur from the wind. My current tripod is carbon fibre and sadly the lower weight bracket seems to be resulting in slight motion distortion of my night shots, so I thought to try a slightly heavier aluminium one that would give me a little bit of extra weight without seriously affecting portability. The tripod is brilliant and my latest shots seems much clearer. Not only that but deciding to go for the higher tripod allows me use objects as shelter and still be able to adjust the height to get my camera an unobstructed view. The overhand feature I have played with briefly. I was a bit worried about my camera and the possibility of the tripod toppling, but a brief play about has voided all my worries about that, it really is a sturdy and very adaptable piece of kit. It's worth noting that you have to pull the central extension all the way out before you can turn the ball joint for the overhang)As an entry level photographer, I see this tripod lasting me many years as it seems to have everything required at a beginner and pro level. Gets this newbies photographers recommendation.
