... and made final decision towards this one and I like it.
I had selected 2 similar models of K&f Concept tripods (Carbon Fiber one and this) and made final decision towards this one and I like it.. pretty compact when folded, lightweight ( I don't think CF will be much lighter) and pretty impressive when extended to it's maximums. Preference to this model was given based on feature of it's center bar to extend and convert to horizontal (pretty useful feature sometimes)...as of cons: if you extend all the legs fully (inclusive last thinnest ones) in bottom 2 leg lock positions it becomes little bit shaky as it doesn't have lower horizontal support bars (like umbrellas), but in either lower positions you don't need them to be extended unless you are very tall basketball player, as with just 2 bigger section legs extended fully and center bar up and extended fully it goes over 6 feet in height, plus camera on top. Another "con" is aluminum quickly gets pretty cold, especially in this freezing weather and don't ever try to lick it :)as both "cons" refer to all the similar tripods, this is not definitely manufacturer or product quality issue and if you use camera dolly for tripods, stability issue is solved. As of suggestions, would be great if it was coming with spare camera mount adapter (the part which screws to the bottom of camera), so if you use either 2 cameras or use camera with regular and long range lens (in this case lens is attached to tripod), you should keep those adapters mounted on your equipment and easily and quickly change over...Another design suggestion is if some of tripod manufacturers gets camera mount adapter designed the way it can hold camera quick install screws (like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXTTMLU ), so you can keep both adapter and screw attached to the camera all the time.those plate type quick installs aren't that practical as those small screws. All in all, I'm more than happy with this tripod. definitely price/quality ration is perfect, taking into account that similar tripods go up to 400-900 $... and waiting for my D850 and little bit warmer weather to go out hunting for perfect sights... :)And one more, it came with carry case, which has nice design, made of durable material and has light reflective strips, so you don't lose it at night :) I was thinking to wear tripod attached to my camera backpack, but now I'm thinking how to attach tripod case to backpack :)
