My review is based on my personal opinion of the product and is based on my experience using it.The flash is very well packaged and arrives very promptly.In the box is the flash, a quality case and a stand allowing use off camera. There is also a very effective diffuser that pops over the flash head for a nice diffuse light to soften shadows. There are 2 slave modes allowing you to use the flash as a secondary fill in flash off camera one synchronises with the first flash it "sees" the other with the main flash after a pre flash. The function appears to be light triggered rather than a wireless triggering which can be a problem if your flash is hidden behind an object to provide a rear fill flash.The flash head is movable to left right and rear and has a pull out reflector for bounced flash. The flash also includes a zoom facility allowing you to have the correct light spread with common focal length lenses. The zoom function is manual and you do need to set this correctly as you shoot. There is also a very handy strobe function with the flash, you can set a longish exposure and capture multiple images of a moving object moving through the field of view, good for some impressive shots especially against a black background.There are a few limitations with the flash; there is no TTL function so on camera this does operate as a basic hot shoe flash. You will need to set the output correctly for the shot you are taking and you will have to set the zoom manually. This is however not a great issue given the price of this kit. My main flash is a fully featured TTL head and it cost many times more than this one. At this price, the KF570II is an excellent flash and will serve you well as long as you accept there are some things you will need to do manually.
