A nice well made flash with many features
It’s not often I use a flash as I tend to use mostly f/1.2, f/1.4, f/1.8, f/2.0 lenses wide open and with high ISO settings. But there has been times lately where there has been little light and I have found recently that a flash has been essential.I have not long owned my Speedlite by K&F and only used it on 4-5 occasions. I cannot be without it now and keep it in my kit bag at all times. When it first arrived like most things being inpatient like I am I tend to not read instruction manuals and most cases this is not the right thing to do. Well it completely surprised me that when I put the batteries into the flash and mounted it onto my hotshoe on my camera and turned the power on, the pilot button lit up blue indicating it was ready to trigger.I pressed the shutter on my camera and it worked immediately. My first thought was surely it can’t be that easy. I looked at the image on my canon camera. It was fantastic. I took several other shots. A few being over exposed. I quickly got use to being able to change the flash power settings both up and down. I soon got use to it…. taking photo’s of anything and everything around the house. This is exactly what I needed in a flash. Something not too complicated. It was then I looked through the instruction manual to see what it’s capabilities were. The Speedlight can be angled up and down 90 degrees and the head can also be adjusted left & right 270 degrees.I have learn’t how to bounce the flash using the different angles and I love this function especially seeing how shadows at different angles can change how an image looks. With the built in diffuser the flash is very versatile.I am knew to flash photography and I am enjoying this experience and I can honestly say that I feel my photography has gone up a step. There is a high speed burst mode which I have not experimented yet with. What I also like about this flash is that it recycles very quickly. It is a well made flash and comes with a free foot and a nicely made pouch protector. It looks and feels an expensive item. I am extremely pleased with it and believe it is very good value for money and I highly recommend it.
